Newbie needs help identifying bad cap and value

Philips 42PFL7422D/37 LCD 42" TV. No display but I see a picture when I use a flashlight at an angle.

I'm a newbie. This post led me to this forum:

From searching this forum, I believe I narrowed it down to the inverter board. Please can someone tell me if the cap on the left in the picture looks bad and how do I determine it? Don't have a ESR meter but got a multimeter.(again, I got this from reading through some posts).
Am I on the right track to fixing the problem?
Also, what value is it if I were to go buy one at the store? I have some soldiering experience. Can't do chips but caps, resistors, transistors are no problem. Thanks so much for everyone's help.

Those caps are definitely bad. Both are bloated and the one on the left is leaking.

You are going to have to remove them and read the uF and voltage value because they are probably hidden by the white glue or on the underside.

Once you find the values, post them here and tell us where you live so we can suggest proper caps and a vendor in your area.
