One day monitor dies. No led, no nothing. Resoldering, replacing capacitors, measuring semiconductors, no result. One big fuse ok. But, one picofuse opened in Vcc line of TL1451A. Replacing picofuse. Monitor woke up, but only white screen. LED functioning is back. Why only white screen?

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Benq FP202WA white screen
I cant see a pico fuse - you cannot be sure that he had the same board as you.
Please can you delete your pictures and add them using manage attachments.
Welcome to the forum-
We can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Benq FP202WA white screen
Thanks , so , no pico fuse. Pictures are not good the one of the back is no use at all for troubleshooting.
Do you have a multimeter and soldering equipment
EDIT
Whoa - sorry I think there may be a fuse - a yellow torpedo style right at the top of your picture
just behind the heat sink - what is the board designation for that F??? perhaps
That is one reason we ask for good clear pictures.Last edited by selldoor; 01-04-2013, 09:23 AM.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Benq FP202WA white screen
Well may as well start low. Connect it all up.
Meter on vDC 200 put black probe on a ground screw and check all the pins on the connector - right hand side middle of the board. Does it say on the board what the voltages are supposed to be? Take care not to touch any heatsinks, they may be live. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Benq FP202WA white screen
I am not following this - you said earlier
"You mean this? I checked it and it's good."
Now you are saying you have replaced it?
Which fuse have you replaced the white one or the yellow one
remember I cannot read the numbers so have no idea.
We are going to need a really good picture of the board after the main board
- may be attached to the panel. - Panel Board or TconLast edited by selldoor; 01-05-2013, 07:57 AM.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: Benq FP202WA white screen
@fuke, are you asking about the EXTERNAL power supply? This FP202WA as shown in this thread uses internal power supply/inverter board combo.Never stop learning
