    LG part

    Well heck! LG says I have to buy a whole power supply, around 140.00
    Come on. They probably buy the part I need from Sanyo. The tv is a LG model # 55LW5300-UC service code 55LW5300-UC AUSYLUR serial # 109RMJF86708
    power supply is TB60A621699010506 1.5
    The number on the part is 11S-LS01 B another number under it FL 110221 F

    My pictures aren't very good. but here they are.

    The part number for the board at least is most likely

    EAY62169901, EAX62876201/8, EAX62876201/9, LGP55-11SPB, CRB31006801

    TB60A621699010506 1.5

    Not sure how Sanyo fits into this equation but how did you determine the transformer was at fault.

        Transformer fault's are less likely than other components around them on power supply boards. Inverter transformers for the CCF backlights on the other hand do fail in today's sets.
        As tw2005 has asked I'm interested in how you conclude it's faulty?

            Sanyo doesn't really/ I just said that because they do make many parts for many different mannufacturer's. LG must not make their own boards if they don't have components for them. Somewhere this part I need is made. I don't want to order a whole board it is to expensive.

                      I looked at the board from aliexpress, and it is they have a fantastic price on it. The part number is the same but it says its is for a 42 inch screen. Mine is a 55 inch screen. Is this the right board, it does look identical.

                        I don't have a schematic, so I don't know where to check for that drive signal. I didn't realize the voltage would be there and the transformer not be turned on. You don't by any chance have a schematic or flow chart for this tv?

                          Unfortunately I don't have a schematic either but looking at the board at Shopjimmy I think its connected as follows.

                          The transformer pins have numbers 1 to 10 on the upper side of the pcb.

                          Pins 6 & 7 and Pins 9 & 10 are connected together and you should be able to measure resistance between the pairs.

                          Pin 2 & 8 appear to be not connected.

                          Can you measure the resistances between
                          Pins 1 to 3,4 & 5
                          Pins 3 to 4 & 5
                          Pins 4 & 5

                          That should give an idea of the transformer internal connections.

                            What is the P/N of the SMPS IC501 which drive the primary winding of that transformer?
                            I doubt that the transformer is bad.
                            You need to find out if the IC is getting the VCC to run or not when you find the spec sheet of the IC, there are step in trouble shooting methods that should be followed.

                              pins 1 to 3 i 3.7 ohms
                              pins 4 to 5 is 0.7 ohms
                              pin 3 to 4 doesn't show a connection

                              pin 6 to 7 is 0.2
                              pin 9 to 10 is 0.4

                                I don't know what this means, but on the secondary of that transformer pins 6,7,9,10 all test connected.
