I just received a new K7N2 Delta 2 board to replace an Epox 8RDA+ with numerous bad caps. Some posts I've read on this forum worried me that MSI might be using poor quality caps as well. The new board appears to have Rubycon and Nichicon caps. Hopefully this is a good sign.

OK Topcat, here's the lowdown on the caps on this board. 6 Rubycon 2200uf 6.3v MBZ, 3 Nichicon 1500uf 16v HM(M), 9 Nichicon 1000uf 6.3v FJZ and 3 green-colored caps marked SE 47 WX 100uf 25v (?). The board is a 6570E Ver. 10.0. I could not find a date on it so I'm not sure when it was manufactured. This is my first MSI board and I probably won't get it installed until this weekend.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't

I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

I have a Samson Resolv studio monitor that has no sound output. I've opened it up and found two caps that are bulging on what I believe to be the power supply section of the amplifier board. The board is marked Resolv 65A AMP V1.2. The caps in question are YUSCON, 2200uF, 35V, 85C temp and have markings of RA(P) and are 16mm x 25.5mm tall. I've attached the schematic and the caps in question are C5 and C6. I'm assuming they are low esr caps. I've tested both caps and they test low uF, nowhere near 2200uF.

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow.
