I have a lenovo yoga slim 7 carbon 14acn06 computer. The first bios version I used normally was H5CN08WW.T01. However, I could not find this version on the lenovo homepage. I updated to version H5CN42WW and the touchpad, speaker, and mic had errors. Then I flashed the bios mod version again, but now the computer does not display the screen. Can anyone help me? Hi guys. I've got an update

I bought a new CH341A programmer and I could still not read the chips with the clip. So I desoldered the chips and succeeded in backing up both chips!

The size of the chips are 8 Mb and 16 Mb which seems to be correct. I assume this is the main bios and the backup bios.

I've downloaded a BIOS update from Lenovo for my specific laptop and attempted to extract the BIOS.

Can you please help / guide me on how to update the bios on these chips? The laptop won't start and I'm suspecting a corrupt BIOS.

I'm trying to follow the instructions here but I'm not doing too well. I tried searching for LENV and found it in the new BIOS file (from .fd) but I can't find it in the existing BIOS file. It might be corrupted. I'll post both BIOS files here in hopes of somebody being able to help me.

I've currently got a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14APU8 that is not posting. Its fan spins, the keyboard lights up, and the caps lock doesn't work. It was taken to some shop for cleaning, and then they updated or tried to update the bios. After that, there was no display and no post. I've removed the bios ic from the board and made a bios dump. I need some assistance going forward, as I suspect this is probably just a bad bios issue. I've tried searching for a dump, but no luck; if anyone can throw me a bone, it would be much appreciated!
