First check this site to see if your HP is supported for the great tool Mazzif has made.

If your model is newer and not in that list, you need to dump your bios, remove password from dump and reprogram bios with modified dump.

For that you need an SPI programmer like CH341A or Raspberry Pi with Flashrom or any other similar programmer. A soic8 clip is also useful so there wouldn't be a need to unsolder bios IC.

When you have your dump, just drag and drop your file on my HPUnlocker...

I volunteer for a nonprofit that refurbishes and sells donated laptops. We received a large donation but several of the laptops had BIOS passwords.
I have figured out the hard way I can't take the BIOS and EC program out of one laptop and program it into another. That results in "Endpoint Security Controller Problem"
It does fix the password problem.
Here are the original BIOS and EC programs for one of the laptops with a password.
I would like to learn how to remove the password from both files. RCUnlocker doesn't seem to work on these files or I am using it...

Need clear ME Region bios dump for HP Zbook Studio G5 (board DA0XW1MBAI1 intel i9-9th gen), please. The board looks like is trying to boot, all voltages present, fans at full blast at the end of the boot cycle. The board has 3 bios chips Main, EC and TR. I extracted only main bios 32mb.

Just a thread to post clean VSS2 files/dumps in.A clean VSS2 file can, in some cases, fix
the infamous [COLOR=#c0392b][B]**[/B][/COLOR]"[B]Endpoint Security[/B]" error message.
Be aware that if you use a clean VSS2 you may need to fill in missing DMI info using HP BCU !

I`ve included some clean files/dumps,offsets and a few scripts to autopatch a few models.
The offsets and file sizes are part of the naming convention i`ve used for the extracted

It seems that in my case i need to work on the 32MB bios file because the 16MB unlocked by RcUnlock can't do the stuff.
if i replace my Serial Number & System Board CT Number into an unlocked bin will be enough ?

I've been working on this for about a week. I've read the threads and ordered and attempted to use a programmer to pull the BIOS dump from the laptop with no luck. I tried using RcUnlocker, but keep getting a dll error even after reinstalling the C++ Redistributable. I also tried NeoUnlocker and another program. None would pull up the chip.

That leaves me asking for help unlocking this BIOS. The laptop boots up to the Domain login with no issue. I can pull up the boot menu. Any attempt to open the BIOS or the BIOS upgrade menu is met with a password request....

Hi Everyone I have a 3 Hp Zbook 15 g5 with motherboard DA0XW2MBAG0 REV-G, the problem at first was because the audio driver was not installed in the bios, the audio was working but in Windows it was not installed, after many attempts to fix it, I thought it was a bios problem because the IC was made elsewhere.
