Hello everyone. I'm Rogerio Moya, I'm 38 years old and I live in Brazil.. I am new to the electronics field and i have been working with computer software for over 10 years and had never been involved with electronics before. Out of curiosity, I started. I have always been interested in understanding and now I am starting to learn how to repair notebook motherboards (my main interest is in MacBooks). I would really like to participate and help others as many have done here on the site and I hope to be of great help.

Hi there! I'm a hobbyist laptop repairer, and I'm currently learning how to unlock the BIOS on a couple of laptops I own. I've already learned a lot by reading through this forum, and I recently bought a T48 programmer to experiment with BIOS flashing!
Keep the great stuff up!

Hello all! I'm a software engineer trying to bumble my way through hardware. I've spent some time on the side messing with ESP32s, basic circuit design, and little IoT projects. I hope to branch out to PCB design soon.
I found this forum because I'm trying to troubleshoot a boot failure on a secondhand workstation I nabbed from eBay. Hopefully I can learn a bit from the experts here.
Thanks!Comment

Hello,
I'm new to this forum i found about in the search fixing the faulty bios of my fathers laptop. I'm not really an expert insofar that i'm not familiar with technical details en detail etc., but it is enough, to try to solve some problems by myself relying on information already in forums and so on. I could send the laptop to a mech but rather I will try it myself to save some bucks and learn something new and how to do it (also the laptop was very cheap, it could be cheaper to buy a new one instead to bring it to a mech). I was sat in front of a computer relatively early comprehend to my age and to others of my cohorte, got with the money from some religious rite my first very own laptop, later I build my own Tower for gaming and upgraded it in recent years (I had some pause being on the computer and for me with an 2010s r9 280 it was okay to play some more modern games like hitman 3, but on one point I just had to upgrade. Nonetheless I think that my "old" Hardware is still not for the trash bin, I mean its surely more powerful then my smartphone and it still can get to good use for like a streamingstation in the living room or for a spare computer when friends come by and want to play some lan). Currently im studying and now i'm hoping finding here some solution for my problem, from what I have seen until now the people here are friendly and willing to help even when the ones seeking help arent that commited to complish with the forums rule for a fast problem solving. I wish anyone reading this a good day!Comment

Hello everyone!
I'm here because my BIOS got corrupted when I tried to boot from a long standby (and so corrupted that I couldn't even flash it from a USB stick).
So I came across your forum where I saw that the community was exchanging dumps ready to be flashed.
So here I am, hoping to solve my problem
Thanks in advance for your welcome!Comment
