hello! my gpu died somehow, thought i might just get myself a multimeter and try to see if I could find what's wrong. was looking for schematics and came across here. I don't really have any repair experience except for some soldering and keyboard repair.Comment

My name is Steve and I have an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology. I have been a Service Representative for several companies in the Industrial Controls industry. I built my first computer almost 30 years ago and have been "tinkering" ever since. I started fixing computers to help friends and family and look forward to learning more from listening to all of the comments and reviews on the forum.Comment

Hi,
I studied electronics in the beginning of the 80'ts, but never worked in this industry.
Somehow ended up in the oil & gas sector, and after retirement I picked-up electronics as a hobby.
So much to learn, and to catch up, which is not easy when the brain starts slowing down
But it is all about having fun, and taking care of not to get electrocuted

Hello everyone,
I'm an electrical engineer working right now as a freelancer electrician, and electrical safety inspector since 2019. I have a family with two kids. I like to play games on my Playstation 5 console which I only can do at the late nights and at the weekend. I'm seeking new knowledge about everything what's intresting for me. I'm not afraid to taking apart electronical devices to inspect them and learn how they work.
I joined the site to get help in certain issues from smarter people than me 😁Comment

Hello,
i am interested in computers and especially in macs (which i mostly use for video editing). Also, i like to repair them for friends, but mostly software related (and search the possible solutions on the internet - try and error). Now, i get an old macbook air and try to get the data restored and going to solve the hardware problem. As always its not that easy and i am sure to have to ask and need your help!

Hi all, Thanks for having me.
I'm 45 and live in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
I enjoy designing and making PCB's mainly for arduino and Ras-pi projects.
Lately been dabbling in SMD soldering with a new hot air rework station and would like to get a bit deeper into the understanding of more complex systems at a PCB level.
The information on this forum will be very helpful to my learnings and I appreciate you having me.
Cheers!Comment
