good day to all of you, by the way I am an electronic tech since 1998, since then I have been interested in interactions with all technicians everywhere who share knowledge about the world of electonics, in the amount of information in the exchange of comments, improved my repair skills, and have since become a cell phone tech. I am now a computer tech with an up-to-date system of making laptop cases, so I am very grateful for this forum,Comment

New member, i enjoy repairing all things. Ive hit a wall working on a samsung 3d plasma tv pn51f8500AFXZA i have basic knowledge and tools for electronic repair and have worked in the field in the past with community college courses. Id rather learn to fix the specific boards rather than buy replacements willy nilly.Comment

Hello everyone, For a long time, I wanted to belong to this group, which I now realize I had registered for and finally remembered my credentials. I hope to continue learning thanks to the content you offer. I am from Ecuador, and I love computers. I need more experience in microelectronics. Thank you for creating this forum full of knowledge and camaraderie.Comment

Hi there,
I'm Francis.
Even this is not my main occupation, I've always liked to mess with electronics: from fixing a LED light bulb, to build from scratch an arcade cabinet, to hack every video game console I have access to. Also did some overclocking, undervolting, hacking wifis and cable modems.
And now, why not, let's unlock some BIOS.
The sad part is that I don't have as much spare time as I used to have...

This is Gary MacGregor - Current bench tech at Sound Vibrations (this account). I will eventually set up a personal account of my own.
I am a Certified Electronic Technician with an Associates Degree in Electronics & Communications Servicing (so, I have half a clue, not necessarily a full clue, but at least half.
I do repairs on Musicians Electronics, Speaker Repair and Reconing, Communications Equipment and Oilfield Instrumentation & Electronics.
I absolutely love the music biz. I design, build, install and maintain sound systems.
And sometimes put on concerts, run sound, help bands in the studio and schlep gear if needed.
See you out there somewhere

Hi all,
I am a college teacher in the fine arts field but I love old computers and fixing stuff myself. My first computer was a Timex Sinclair ZX81, and after a while switched to a Radio Shack TRS-80. Fun times. Since then I like to try to do things myself and developed love for open source software and tweaking things here and there. I am not an expert but enjoy messing up with machines. It's good to be here where I can learn from all of you.Comment
