Hello everybody,
I am happy to join this great forum (what I already read before creating the account). I am a technical enthusiast since more than 35 years, mainly java network developer (wireshark is my friend) and as hobby I am repairing norebooks, cumputers etc and very often I have to fix corrupted BIOSes (thats the main reason for joining, as I read very helpful articles here already).

Just joined from UK. Not much activity over here on any collaborative help forums on any topic !

An Electronic Engineer for about 5 decades mostly analogue not digital, specialising in sensor design. Have of course dabbled in various programming tasks over the years, with just one relatively complex PIC MCU design along the way. Have been using computers throughout, starting with mainframes (Fortran!), progressing to an '80s 6502 home machine before various PCs and Laptops, which I prefer to build or fix myself.
