I found out, that ALT+R should give a rescue pwd screen with a date. But I cannot get into this screen, ALT+R doesn't work, also tried with external keyboard
Any hint would be great

Hello, I have also an asus transformer T102H Book with set BIOS password. As I can read above, it seems that it is possible to get an unlock code by bios date rescue. How does this work?
Is this rescue code simply used as password after startup? And how to I get the exact bios rescue date?

Hello,
I have also a Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 model 1958 with a bios password set - The bios chip winbond 25Q128JWPQ I already read successfully. Did anybody successfully remove the password from such a model? I could post my bin bios dump here.

I am happy to join this great forum (what I already read before creating the account). I am a technical enthusiast since more than 35 years, mainly java network developer (wireshark is my friend) and as hobby I am repairing norebooks, cumputers etc and very often I have to fix corrupted BIOSes (thats the main reason for joining, as I read very helpful articles here already).
