Hi All, my real name is Haidhur and I'm always been interested in IT,
I'm currently working as a first line engineer.
While it's not what I really what I want, it's a start.
I've always been interested in the networking industry and working out in the field.
As a side hustle I'm also buying faulty laptops and repairing them so I can then sell them to gain profit.

I am a dusty old timer that started off with Heathkit projects and then moved up to fabricating my own PCBs for S-100 bus 8080A computer. Tinkered with 8 inch Shugart drives and CPM on floppy disks, and acoustic 2400bps modems. Been in the working with or on computers from high school on.. First real PC was IBM serial number 0009, running IBM Basic on two 5 inch floppy drives. Dove into the deeper stuff hidden in machine code, and BIOS... neat little hooks to be found and shortcuts into the system for company projects. Yes, I've worked on mainframe computers, mostly IBM, coded COBOL, FORTRAN, and other cryptic languages. Also coded drivers for rugged laptop computers, created self-install packages, built test fixtures for hardware, and worked with SNA/SDLC communication interfaces. Recently started playing around with hooks into automotive control systems, they are a pain to peel back the layers, but it is interesting how cars are networked internally. I am always trying discovering how to use computers better, or make them faster with upgrades. I am trying to learn some of the newer languages, but I mostly repair laptops for friends, clean out virus or Trojans...unless the wife has a "honey-do" project that requires my attention... :-)
