Hi BrAcerTech here from Philippines. got a basic electronics course way back in my college days then shifts to E-Commerce course that involves website developing. built my own computer shop, thinking of how much will it cost for a maintenance I studied basic troubleshooting. and searching solution leads me to this forum site. hoping to share some solutions here.
Martin here. This site is a jewel. Already found info. here that rocked a repair. I am a 20 materials engineer who quit to be home with youngest. However, I also enjoy keeping some challenge in life so am developing my electronics troubleshoot skill among other things. Funny thing about bad caps how common they are but this site is anything but "common". Rock On Electrons!

Hello, Zarko here from Srebia. I have a degree electrical engineering (mechatronics). My interest in electronics started while I was in secondary school and I am still very much into electronics. I like doing projects on PIC microcontrollers, audio amplifiers (mainly based on ICs but I also made one with electronic vacuum tube). I also like repairing electronic stuff for my friends and family. My first computer was Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k+, after that i switched to Atari 520STFM (I upgraded it to 4Mb using ICs), after that I used Atari Falcon 030 (I made my own 14Mb RAM board), I am on PCs now. I have three soldering stations with temperature control 24W, 48W and 80W (48W one was made by myself - I like to use this one the most) and one hot air station.
