Hello,
I'm just a regular guy who likes to repair things. Because I cannot stand when people are getting rid of things which can be repaired or used for some different purpose.
I consider that as a fight against a broken device and me, and I expect to win every fight.
I spend so much time on repairing things, so it is definitely cheaper to buy new thing instead of repairing something.

Hey y'all. My name is Nate, I'm 25 years old
I've been working in tech for a while now, started learning how to build PCs when I was about 15 and then moved to soldering repairs and builds as a hobby and a small side gig. Currently I'm working as a repair tech at a small store, and I am hoping to learn more about replacing small chips and caps instead of just replacing ports which is all I really know at the moment. A friend of mine who has used Badcaps recommended it for learning more so I thought I would login and check it out.Comment

Hello,
love electronics, my first computer was a zx81.
My favorite machines were the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K a 286 AT clone and the HP48SX. They made me who I am now.
I am trying to learn how to fix my LG Gram 17 laptop, so I found this forum. It seems a great place to learn.
Cheers.Comment
