Hey, arctic_gohper here!
I'm mostly a software guy, but dabble in repairing my own stuff to save money/for the learning experience. Joining today since I managed to break my screen during one of these DIYs.

Hello everyone.
My name is Przemek and I'm from Poland. I use a translator a lot, so I apologize for language mistakes right away
Sometimes I fix things to myself or my friends. When I can't deal with something, I am not afraid to ask specialists for help. And that's what led me to this forum.

Hey everyone, I came across this site about a year ago while trying to repair a friend's TV, turns out a few of the LEDS had burned out and needed to be replaced. Thanks to you guys I seemed like a genius lol!
I look forward to gleaning whatever knowledge I can from this community and chipping in my little bit when possible.

Hello, I'm here trying to repair my new to me Free LG Plasma tv. I saw some posts relating to my tv so I figured I would join and ask my own questions as the posting didn't have the same outcome as I did.
Hope to get to know some folks here and get some help.

Hi Folks,
My name is TheBigBen76. It's my tag for everything. I am a producer/director by trade but constantly growing my tech knowledge to further my creative pursuits. Chance at a cheap fix for a new TV brought me here, and I like learning tech.
My handle is cpumech,
I am semi-retired hardware tech that still loves to fix ANYTHING electronic,
I live in Southern Oregon and was in business for 30 years in San Diego, California. I have an appetite to tear all electronics apart. I am self taught and have most of my test equipment left from my computer business. I can handle through hole tech and SMT soldering, I am very much into Super capacitors. I have been a phone support tech for the last 8 years and work out of California for a large Corporation. Like most of you I get most of my parts online now, I used to get most of my caps from Mouser electronics in San Diego, My store was not too far from there. I look forward to chatting with other electronic Junkies here. Peace
