Hi,
We continue to struggle with the SEF 551.10 reflow oven. After we managed to start it in october - the topic here -> https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/equipment-usage-soldering-techniques-and-reviews/3485655-sef-551-10-error-starting-the-reflow-oven everything promised to be good. But...
While soldering with lead paste somehow goes, but we cannot force the stove to raise the temperature
that he would dissolve the unleaded binder. I even doubted what this bastard shows on screen and passed through...

Dell E7450 LA -A961P - diagnostics after flooding and damaged PD817, PD5 diodes
Hi,
I have La-A961P Rev: 1.0 (A00) from a flooded laptop on the table. The computer was flooded with tea and at the same time the power supply was disconnected, the battery was removed immediately and the laptop was turned upside down.
I looked at the mainboard, but I don't see any marks of water damage. Maybe the liquid did not reach MB, or maybe I just don't see it.
During the inspection, I noticed a burned (charred on one side) double diode PD817.

After contacting SEF, their technical department rose to the challenge. They found the update file in the archive and sent it by e-mail along with the appropriate instructions. This allowed the oven to start.

I will add that I inserted the mentioned SD card into the reader. It turned out that there was one FAT32 partition there - completely empty. So now I'm wondering if:

The SD is empty because something happened, and by default there should be some content there. Is that why the computer cannot download the configuration?
The SD is empty and has always been so, and the damaged data (configuration files or something) are located in some other memory on the computer PCB itself?
Have I mistakenly assumed it's a software problem and I am heading towards a dead end?
- I will add that

SEF 551.10 - Error starting the reflow oven.
Hello,
When starting the SEF 551.10 reflow oven, the following problem occurs:

It seems to me that this is related to corrupted software. Does anyone have files that can fix this device? Or maybe someone uses such an oven and is able to make a sector copy of the memory card located in the computer controlling this oven?
PS.: Of course,...

Re: Lenovo ThinkPad T430 - LCD replacement - only white screen.
I checked the connection several times. Everything looks good. I decided to measure the voltages at the screen connector on the laptop motherboard (Lenovo T430 NZM4I-7 UMA VILT3 NM-A082):
PIN 2,3,4 - VCC3P = 0V
PIN 5 - VCC3B = 3.3V
PIN 30 - VCC3P = 2.88V
PIN 35,36,37,38 - VBL20 = 19.9V
Following the missing voltage on pins 2-4, it turned out that on one side of fuse F3 I have 3.3V and on the other side 0V.
After the test short circuit, the screen start working.

Lenovo ThinkPad T430 - LCD replacement - only white screen.
Hi,
I've got a Lenovo ThinkPad T430 laptop with a broken screen and a problem with the backlight.
I replaced the broken LCD B140XTN03.1 with LTN140AT28. Everythings should bo OK. However, when turned on, the screen only lights up in white. On the external monitor, the system loads and the computer works normally.
I will mention, that while the system is loading, the LCD blink black once - probably when the graphics driver is loaded. Backlight brightness adjustment works normally.
Is there something I can check on the motherboard or is...

Re: SCHLEUNIGER CO207 - Potentiometers on the PCB out of adjustment. How to set them?
If the problem lies somewhere deep in the electronics, I prefer to leave it to a specialist.
My tests show that:
1 - set in the middle + two turns to the right - causes the device to start working on its own and works endlessly
2 - probably setting the start position of the head (but I'm not sure)
3 - I have no idea
4 - I have no idea
5 - set in the middle + two turns to the left -
causes the device to start working on its own and...

Re: SCHLEUNIGER CO207 - Potentiometers on the PCB out of adjustment. How to set them?
The whole situation started with a problem with the cable grippers. After the work cycle was completed, they did not let go of the cable.
My colleague from work, instead of coming to me and asking what to do about it, decided to solve the problem himself. He partially disassembled the gripper mechanism as well as the area around the sensor assy. Cleaned, put together without any calibration instructions.
As you can imagine, it didn't solve the problem, it only made it...

Re: SCHLEUNIGER CO207 - Potentiometers on the PCB out of adjustment. How to set them?
Thank you for your response.
I forgot to attach the instruction files to the previous post. I'm making up for it now and attaching both versions I got.
As far as setting the potentiometers in the middle position is a pretty good idea. I've already tried to figure out which potentiometer does what, but without much success....

SCHLEUNIGER CO207 - Potentiometers on the PCB out of adjustment. How to set them?
Hi,
I need help setting up the cable stripper - Schleuniger CO207.
After contacting Schleuniger directly and their distributor for Poland - Kabeltch, I received 2 PDFs with instructions/documentation. Many thanks to both companies for this help. In these PDFs there are instructions for setting up and calibrating individual components of the device, but my problem lies on the PCB.
Well, the person who used this device before turned all five potentiometers on the PCB, which caused the Schleuniger CO207 to go crazy. Of course, no one knows how...

Re: SAMSUNG S22A300N - Dead, no sign of life.
Okay, now is the moment to conclude that the matter is not worth the time and work that must be devoted to diagnosis. I don't have the time or the will to fight this s**t anymore. The monitor goes back to where it came from - to the electro-scrap.

SAMSUNG S22A300N - Dead, no sign of life.
Hi,
I have an old Samsung S22A300N monitor showing no signs of life when plugged in. I'd like to try to run it.
Motherboard - BN41-01592D (2011.04.19) REV NO: MP 1.0
As I wrote above - the monitor completely does not respond to the power supply. What I know and may or may not be useful:
- damaged power socket but it's not a problem if you can buy one
- power supply rather functional - 14V at the output
- fuse F801 is OK
- the 9997GH transistor gets a full 14V on the drain, the gate and the source = 0V...

HP Pavilion x2 10-n140nw - eMMC write protection problem
Hello,
I am using google translator so sorry for language mistakes.
I have a problem with the HP Pavilion x2 10-n140nw laptop. I tried to reinstall the system but the installer worked very slowly.
Wanting to see what is happening I started Linux from USB drive. It turned out that the GPT partition table was damaged. J can't do anything about it because no program can write to eMMC.
As if it was write-protected.
Can anything be done about it or is it hardware damage to this memory?

Re: Samsung NC110 - Does not turn on.
For lack of time, I put off work with this netbook for later. Then suddenly came the opportunity to buy exactly the same computer, with a broken screen, for little money.
Further solution to the problem was simple
Thank you all for your help and best regards.
