Hi Everyone.
Glad to join the forum.
Im a software engineer by profession and recently picked up a new hobby in the realm of electronics. I've taken apart a large number of electronics in my life and put together less and just want to balance that ratio a bit.
I've seen this forum on some youtube channels I've watched.
In reference to the 1st post here, seems like this thread has gone slightly over the 100 page mark 😁. Well done and thanks to everyone involved in making and maintaining this forum.Comment

my name is Raymond Red, 24 years old, I live in the Philippines and I've been fixing printers for the past 4 years. I have finished my college by working and earning money from my repairs. I mainly work on epsons but occasionally on Canons and Brothers as well. Recently I also started working on laptops and computers but only on parts that can be replaced(Non board repairs) But I would love to learn how to fix board problems as well that's why I landed in this forum.Comment

Hello everyone, I am a new member.
My job is to repair electrical equipment hardware. My knowledge is self-taught, so there will be problems that do not follow the logical process learned at school. If there are mistakes in my answers, you can consider me a newbie in the field of electronics, please understand. I go to the forum to find documents or solve technical problems for my work.
I see that the forum has many people who are experts and work very well in the field of electronics. I hope everyone can share, help and exchange knowledge in their spare time to help future generations grasp more additional knowledge about electronics to better serve everyone's life, work or personal interests.
I hope the forum will always exist to preserve valuable knowledge about electronics for future generations.
Thank you to those who created and maintained the forum for many years.Comment

Hi,
My name is Davis and I am 39. I have been working with computers since I was 13. I'm from US,Texas.
I remember being told that work I enjoy doing and have a passion for is not just work/job, but a hobby.
I work for a computer store near the community and enjoy great feedback and generous customers we have.
Other than computers, my only other interest in life and what I maybe want to do next is working in Neuroscience.
we will see and I will definitely update this post again when I'm off from work. Haha
Nice to meet you all and hope to be of a great help! (11-8-24)
