my name is Raymond Red, 24 years old, I live in the Philippines and I've been fixing printers for the past 4 years. I have finished my college by working and earning money from my repairs. I mainly work on epsons but occasionally on Canons and Brothers as well. Recently I also started working on laptops and computers but only on parts that can be replaced(Non board repairs) But I would love to learn how to fix board problems as well that's why I landed in this forum....

hello, I have this Brother J2730-DW printer that was brought to me by a friend, it was supposed to be converted to continues ink but the printer wouldn't turn on completely. The printer powers on and plays a tune but it gets stuck in the brother logo. Upon checking, the printer was infested by many small cockroaches. I do checked the board cleaned and tested some corroded capacitors but all seems to be fine, I couldn't find any short circuit or any missing component on the board. Also checked the power supply and it was working fine.
please help.
