Re: Super supercapacitors
Same story as this one: http://www.upworthy.com/see-the-scie...your-battery-l
Two videos that dumb down the explanation of super capacitors to make it easy for less-technical people to understand what they are
It's nothing revolutionary, just the same method to produce super capacitors but performed through a more rudimentary process.
It's very difficult to adapt this to an industrial level, and it's too coarse to actually be worth making as far as I remember.
There were discussions on eevblog about these 2 articles quite frequently

by AJ847.63eHi All,
I recently got a bunch of faulty/partially faulty PS3s and wanted to get some advise on them. Models are:
X4 are PS3 slims with disc drive errors.
X1 is a PS3 slim with the 8002F1F9 update error.
X1 is a ps3 slim with no display.
X1 is a slim with RLOD
X1 is a super slim with a missing disc drive and receiving the same update error 8002F1F9 (I'm assuming because it needs it's drive)?
X1 is another super slim with no power (board number MPX-001).
Does anyone know of any good resources that list parts interchangeability?... -
by ongobongoHello everyone,
anyone here who has experience with replacing the super IO chip of an ROG ally?
I have one on my bench which has a burnt super io (ITE 5125VG-192). On some devices the super-io downloads it's firmware from BIOS if it's empty. As i don't have a programmer for this chips i hope someone here has already changed the chip and can give me a hint if it's working with an empty chip if it needs external programming.
Thanks
