LP2407 No Picture after replacing Caps

    Hello All,

I have replace all the caps in the monitor with Panasonic or Nichicon caps:

    C618, C609, C501, C605, C611, C613, C601, C615, C506, C506, C227, C223, C619, C334, C505, C1, C3, C904, C901, C912, C902, C928, C929, C501, C608, C609, C611, C605, C615, C601, C613, C508, C334, C619, C223, C227, C505

The monitor is connected to a running comuter with and output signal.

When the monitor boots up the Gatway logo appears no blue light and no touch screen function.
    Then the monitor goes black.

I need help into what to look for now.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks in advance.

The first time I plugged it in after replacing the caps the Logo & the menu on the right side appeared.

Now only the Logo appears and no menu.

      Yes the cable is connected.

Any suggestion on what to look for?

Check for an image with a flashlight. If the power LED is off, possibly the processor is shutting it down rather than "two seconds to black" due to inverter or CCFL problems. But the power light should come on for a little while at startup.

When it is turn one the Gateway chimes then Gateway logo then 20 sec into the power up of it the AUCUN signal with RGB appears then goes completely black. Nothing no light just black.

          Thanks jsog for helping.

Do you or anyone else know what to go look at / test / measure?

Dell Inspiron 15 7567 (LA-D993P) - No power after replacing blown inductor and shorted mosfet advice needed

First of all, I'd like to mention that I'm a novice when it comes to laptop repair, although I do have some experience with soldering.
One day, my laptop experienced a severe stutter, and after rebooting, it failed to boot into Windows. I decided to disassemble it and found that the PL900 component was blown. Later, I came across a post (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...error%E2%80%99) with the same problem, where...

Replacing SOC SRK08 clean me needed?
            by DeXXter
Hello, so I replaced a soc SRK08 (i3-1115G4) on a hp 14-dq because the 1.8v power supply was shorted and the pch was gone and I installed a SRK05 (i5-1135G7) that I had at hand. And I was wondering if a clean me region is needed after replacing the chip, I usually do this on laptops with separated pch, but with a soc (cpu and pch together) I have no idea. Normally I wouldn't ask this, but I have only the motherboard, no screen nor the adapter, and after I fix this I have to send it to another region so if someone knows about this, some help would be apreciated.

            Note: After doing all...

            Replacing capacitors in Evga PSU
            by competition
I have Evga G2 1300w and I want to replace all the electrolytic capacitors because PSU is already 12+ years old and I want to give it more life before any capacitor does damage. There are no blown capacitors, but I want to protect myself by replacing them with new ones as a precaution. And now comes the main problem. I have 5 pieces of Bulk (I think they are KZE) 16v3300uf with dimensions 10/35/5, but I can't find them in that size, only 12.5/35/5.I have one KY 16v1000uf 8.5/19/3.5, one KY 16v220uf I think it is 6/13/3.5 but it is in holes of pitch 5 I have 4 pieces of KZE 16v2200uf with dimensions...

Need help with replacing the 12th generation CPU on a gaming laptop.
            by doivaythoiem
Status: I have a 12th generation Acer Nitro laptop with the main code HH514 LA-L973P REV 1A and the CPU is faulty. I replaced a CPU from an Acer mainboard of the same type and it worked, but the CPU had an error and couldn't enter Windows. Next, I replaced a CPU from a Dell laptop that was still working but had a VGA error. After replacing it, I flashed a new bios from the Acer manufacturer, but the machine still couldn't work. Can someone answer this question? Thanks.

Replacing electrolytic caps by solid caps on old motherboards
            by madscientist750
I do have several old pc motherboards which i recapped 10 year ago and some of those caps are bulged now.
I would like to upgrade them using solid capacitors. I do use them for testing and helping some alternative operating systems.
I would like to ask if such an upgrade can be done, what should i have in mind when replacing electrolytic by solid caps and if such thing exist, if there are caps list for old motherboards. I would have to figure out what caps needs each motherboard and then prepare a list to try to ask for them on some electronics stores.
