First of all, I'd like to mention that I'm a novice when it comes to laptop repair, although I do have some experience with soldering.
One day, my laptop experienced a severe stutter, and after rebooting, it failed to boot into Windows. I decided to disassemble it and found that the PL900 component was blown. Later, I came across a post (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...error%E2%80%99) with the same problem, where replacing the PL900 and possibly the shorted PC902 and PC903 components fixed the issue. However, after I replaced these components, the laptop wouldn't turn on at all—no LED blinking, nothing.
I then started investigating further and found a video (https://youtu.be/-06c18iqGAM) with a similar problem, where the issue was a shorted dual mosfet PQ900. I removed the PQ900 and discovered the same issue. While replacing the PQ900, I found a strange measurement from D2/S1 to GND. According to the video, the person mentioned that it's normal to have 150 ohms there, but I only have 4 ohms. Now, I've replaced all the components, but I'm hesitant to turn it on without confirmation from someone more experienced than I am. Are these readings normal? Can I safely turn it on to test for booting without causing further damage? Or is there something else I should check? Please help!
