Re: Hisense 65H6570F Logo shows then turns off
The method of restoring hisense to factory Settings: Power off - press the TV button to switch on the AC power and wait for 15 seconds, then the screen will indicate that the system is recovering, you can release the button, wait for 3/5 minutes, if you can't restore the TV, you can only open the TV for repair, in addition, I want a pkg file, thank you!

Could you possibly share the recovery firmware? I have the same model tv with the same exact issue. Did you ever get it fixed?Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 65H6570F Logo shows then turns off
yes its5 strips, so the group will be 2 1/2 strips , so if you are afarid to take the screen apart. i will explain to you here matter and the rest i will leave it to yours creative ideen.
with out BL socket connected you messured 197V on each group. how ever the chart say max 120 V. so the LEDs are part of the circuit to adjust the output to less than 120V:
yours messurments after you plugged back the BL socket, you got 137V which its overload and one with 86V which to me normal. so the the one 137 are over load.
so with out socket Tv will not work as there are overload or open circuit. but if you get now Normal filament lamp we put it in the way of (N) of the groups which are 137V , this mean LED+ will go direct to the strips and the wire of LED- (N) come back to the socket.. we put the lamps one wire to the LED- coming back from strips and the other will go to the socket direct.
easy way you can try the LED- of the overloaded group cut it before the socket and connect the lamp between. 50 Watt lamp i think will be enough... give try if it work good if not bring the wire back and find some one help with change LEDs
good luckLeave a comment:

Thank you for the clarification about the voltages. It makes perfect sense.
I think the TV has 5 strips of LED. the picture of the back of TV is attached. If it is not clear, I can see only 5 sets of pin placements on the back on each side.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Hisense 65H6570F Logo shows then turns off
if you upload good photo on the whole back of the TV , from the chassis design can tell how many strips there and do correct calculationIs it at all possible that the difference in voltage is due to lower port having less LEDs to drive? 86V is very close to being 2/3 of 136V. If the TV has 5 LED strips, and the top port driving 3 of them and the bottom 2 of them, 136-86 split is not awful.
Again, I am wishing this not be a BL issue since I cannot realistically fix that.
from the chart LED BL one channel Max 120V 900Ma. so we have the Group of 136V are over load.. i remarked the 86V as its correct rangeAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Led tester would probably tell you. It's not always reliable since it doesn't load the leds like tv's power supply.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 65H6570F Logo shows then turns off
The repair shop asks for around 200$ if it has to change backlight, which is not unfair. But I may get a new TV and sell this one as is and maybe spend in that ballpark. Both go to 197v. Wishing it weren't so won't change things. I don't know anyone who really likes change backlights on tv's, especially the big one's. I did 65" not to long ago. Held my breath and hoped cheap harbor freight suction cups would hold.
You can always take it to repair shop.
I have called the Hisense service again, The person I talked to was adamant it is not a BL issue, which I do not trust that much. He told me tier 2 may send me a new firmware or contact me. We'll see what happens.
Can a LED tester give me readings that prove BL issue beyond doubt without opening up the panels?Leave a comment:

I guess you could drill a big hole through the back and put a spotlight in.Leave a comment:

Without the BL socket on:
XP905 (the one on top) :197V
XP902 (the one on bottom): 197V
Both reduce when the TV turns itself off
With the BL socket ON:
XP905 (the one on top) :136V
XP902 (the one on bottom): 87V
Both reduce when the TV turns itself offLeave a comment:

Re: Hisense 65H6570F Logo shows then turns off
good then its easy for you to measure the voltage at start up.
put your DMM on 200V DC or more. P1 N1 are one groupe of P Positive ( DMM red color probe) N Negative (DMM black color probe )
same way to P2 N2 write down the voltage your DMM register at starting up the tv.Leave a comment:

I think each positive is 120 V 900mA based on the output of the board written in the middle picture.Leave a comment:

Re: Hisense 65H6570F Logo shows then turns off
1. I removed both the BT/wifi module and the speakers, no difference.at this point dont do SW with USB untill we be sure we dont have HW problem.
lets try to remove load from the MB, disconnect the wifi/BT module socket from it and turn on see any different, if no change
we need to see the print chart of the BL socket wiring.. on the top are not clear just they put P1 N1/ P2 N2. look from the downside of the powerboardss and show me here the circuit of the BL. also be sure the socket solder are fine and tell howmany wires you have on the socket.
2. I only removed the BT/wifi module, no difference
3. There is no voltage charts. Pictures of the top and bottom of the powerboard is attached. There are 4 wires in the BL socket.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Last night when I took the cover off, I unplugged the BL from power board, no change in the power LED flashes. Later I unplugged the lcd ribbon cables, no difference either.Leave a comment:

by taslanHello everyone,
as stated in the title, my surface 7 pro wont boot anymore.
When i press the power button it shows the square windows logo for a second and immediately turtns off again.
I dont even have a chance to get into bios or boot from usb.
While trying to find help online it was suggested to look for help/repair here on badcaps and it might be a ME Region corruption in bios.
I dont know what that is exactly, but i never tinkered with the bios or windows in terms of hacking/patching etc.
Bought it directly from microsoft and used it now and then and only... -
by frannyjunkSo I have this Hisense tv where the backlight does not come on. But when it is turned on, when I shine a flashlight on the screen, I can clearly see the splash screen then it turns off. I looked at the mainboard and was expecting to see bulged capacitors, but they all look fine. I unplugged the backlight from the mainboard, and get the same symptoms (i.e. no backlight, dark splash screen then just a black screen). Is this just a backlight issues? Do Hisense tvs turn off by itself if the backlights are unplugged or are bad? Or is this a mainboard issue?
TIA. -
by m1ch43lzmHi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76
Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...-

by IIOSOHHi,
I'm trying to fix a Philips TV [46PFL5507K/12] for a friend. A few seconds after turning it "ON" a hourglass appears and stays on the screen for around a second, then the screen goes black again, there is no picture nor sound when i connect via HDMI to my PC.
I've opened it up and took a few measurements, but i can't seem to find the correct schematic for this exact model. The official service manual has detailed schematics and info for pretty much every other TV from the series but just some generic information about this exact part number so i measured... -
by dragometinTV Model: Hitachi 40HYC42
Power Supply: 17IPS71
MainBoard: 17MB95M
Panel: VES400UNDS-2D-NO3
When the set came in it was dead. Fuse was open primary side and the power mosfet was shorted. So I ordered a new power supply. Now it turns on, only displays "Hitachi" and then power off red and blue led flashing.
I had to modify the 0ohm resistors in the led backlight of the new PS like the original power supply.
Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?
