by spmetroilHello,
I am trying to repair a Dahua NVR4216-4KS2 that is not booting.
The main BIOS/firmware is stored in an SPI flash EEPROM (Winbond 25Q128, labeled as U130 on the PCB).
I have a CH341A programmer and I already attempted the following steps:- Identified the correct chip (W25Q128, 3.3V SPI flash).
- Tried to read the contents with CH341A Programmer software. The dump seems corrupted and I often get the error: “Chip with the contents are in disagreement.”
- Compared several chip type selections (24Cxx and 25Qxx families) to confirm it is indeed a 25 series SPI

by re-atariHello all, as the title says, I'm very much in need of a valid firmware dump of a Anycubic Photon 5.5 3D resin printer. It's stored in a Winbond 25Q32, so it's 4Mbyte.
Here's a little background for my request. A few weeks ago I bought this 3D printer from a guy who had moved on to a PLA printer. I got it at a vey reasonable price, as it was in a defective state. The seller told me that he had experienced a power failure during a firmware upgrade, after which the printer appeared to be dead. He thought the firmware was corrupted in such a way that the printer was now bricked. As he... -
by rednix01Hi everyone,
I accidentally bricked my NUC7i5BNH after disabling the option to boot from USB, and now it's not showing any display at all. I tried the USB recovery method, but unfortunately, it didn't work.
Local repair shops are quoting around $150 just to flash the EEPROM, but considering the unit is only worth about $75 these days, that’s not really an option. So I'm hoping to learn how to flash the chip myself. But to get started, I need a working BIOS dump for the NUC7i5BNH.
I did come across a post with a dump for the NUC7i7BNH, but I wasn't sure...-

by erkko13Ho ho ho, badcaps people,
if this qualifies as bios request, hopefully. Actually BIOS2 for that laptop is second smaller SPI flash (Winbond W25Q80DVSNIG-GP-U), containing supposedly some config for TPS65988 which in turn manages USB-C stuff, including PD. This is possibly flash, where update "Power Delivery Firmware (TI TPS65988)" F407.06.29 -- https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/r10pd10w.exe does its thing. Previous owner claims that after clean install of Windows 10 he installed thinkvantage tool of sort, which updated everything for that laptop. I did glance over...-
