Hello ALL Helping Techs,
So, this is what my problem is for
Sharp 70in Aquos Liquid Crystal TV
TV Model # LC70EQ1OU
Audio/Video input board= bar code is #G38101A0210406881402181XS, no other labels present.
1. TV goes blank in front of my eyes, it turned on and then went bark.
Now 2 weeks ago I was not getting volume out of tv even after unplugging all inputs but HDMI slots.
My Bluetooth soundbar was working, so I was not overly worried about it, I just had to do a master reset. But before sound bar and tv volume was working fine.
2. But the master reset from YouTube didn't work on my tv. And I could not find the master reset on the tv nor was it in the manual? So that's when everything went blank.
3. I have tried all the known reset (youtube) as my power-on light was just blinking, so I went to SharpUSA Facebook page and instant message them. I got the correct reset button from him which was (Down channel button plus /volume up) Now this was better as I did not have to have my wife helping me.
4. So, it worked so much that the power light now stays on till it times out. As I now have it hard reset, I am unable to see anything, to do anything. So, after I took off back of tv it reminded me of my computer support work I used to do and went to school for. So, feel I can fix it myself, with some help.
5. So, I have a green light that comes on and blinks on the Audio board, but only after I hard reset each time. Then I unplug each ribbon cable and the green light does not come on. So, the circuit is broken doing that.
6. My question is do I replace the audio board, or do I have to go do the dreaded replacing backlight strips, or does an LCD have strips? As far as I can see there is at least 30 screws I may have to take off to get to the backlight strips. But today I get my led voltage tester for backlight and system boards. To better trouble shoot TV.
What voltage should i be lookin for.
7. I am sending pictures of system and the green light. Any and all input is greatly needed.
Thank You in advance

PS: Of course, everyone wants you to either throw it out and get a new one. Or see a tv repairman. You now need a 7-year warranty for these tvs.as a minimum.
