LG 55LM9600 Dark Band Artifacting

I love this TV. I have had it for about five years and about a year ago the audio went out and I reflowed the motherboard with success. I just went on vacation and came back to the following. Because I have nothing to lose I have already tried to reflow the motherboard and the tcon with no success. Parts are available and I'm open to ordering them just not sure what the issue really is. The band has a very distinct cut off on the bottom but a gentle fade to the left. There is artifacting that appears underneath the band. It's possible to watch a show but the colors are a little bit off on the top and the artifacting makes it hard because it probably takes five or so seconds for images to disappear completely.

Black horizontal thick line can be missing VGH voltage on COF(chip on film).
Dismantle screen find cof, read what cof it is. Use attachment to find pin location.

The frame on these are pretty tough but I did my best to push on all the ribbons to no luck. I did verify that the backlight LEDs are all working though.

70LE660U dark cloud or black screen with sound.
by Rozp
Hello Everyone,

This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.

I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area....

LG 49UJ6500 LCD panel lighter band that goes away
by howardc64
49UJ6500 LCD panel has a lighter band on top when first powered on. Goes away (or gets much fainter) after TV on for a few min. After powered off for awhile and power back on, same band appears. If powered on immediately after powering off, no or much fainter band. Running the latest firmware.

Disassembled the TV and lifted the LCD panel during testing. Band is on the LCD panel (can see the band on the panel as I lift it slightly) Backlight is perfectly even at the top edge. Double checked LCD panel alignment in the frame and is perfect but since band moved with the panel, its on...

LG 65UK6090PUA - picture dark
by Danstona
Was watching this set, and suddenly it went dark. Picture is still visible, just very dark. Tried checking all settings, adjusting brightness to 100% no change. Reset through menus, no change.
bought used boards from ebay (power and input boards) replaced with same results, changing brightness does seem to have a slight affect.. but not to normal visibility of picture.
I'm handy, fixed TVs before.. I can't see any issues with boards... hoping someone can point me in the right direction to properly diagnose. I don't believe the LEDs are caput, since the picture is on and equal...

Sharp 80" lc-80le661u dark spots/shadows
by Javiercity
Hello there i have a Sharp 80" LDC that has some dark spots in the middle of the screen, since its a 80 inch need another person so hang it on the wall or move it around, so i hope the collective wisdom can help me to determine what is wrong, I've been doing some research online and there is next to nothing about this TV, i tend to believe that the spots are due the back films/diffuser sheets, that are bit dirty, or perhaps one or two LEDs being burned, but what throws me off is that the dark spots are more noticeable when the image is bit dark like night scenes, and also noticeable when...
