Hello there i have a Sharp 80" LDC that has some dark spots in the middle of the screen, since its a 80 inch need another person so hang it on the wall or move it around, so i hope the collective wisdom can help me to determine what is wrong, I've been doing some research online and there is next to nothing about this TV, i tend to believe that the spots are due the back films/diffuser sheets, that are bit dirty, or perhaps one or two LEDs being burned, but what throws me off is that the dark spots are more noticeable when the image is bit dark like night scenes, and also noticeable when the screen is different colors.
Ive found similars problem online that also suggest that the problem is the Glue of the Sheets behind the LCD panel that got unglued and may separeted a tiny bit from the set of sheets - difussers that makes the pixels to look darker than they should some of them resolve the issue just by cleaning the sheets,. ANY Thoughts on this as well
the pictures are in fact making the spots more evident, when its playing there are times (when is bright daylight) that the darkness and the color change is not too bad.
i doubt its the LED as when is bright, it should be more evident i think,
so please look at the pictures and let me know what do you think is the problem, Any help is highly appreciated,,
PS taking it down to test is not much an option as i live alone and finding someone to help me to take it down then up, is bit challenge my neighbors are mostly women, so please concentrate in express your opinion what is most-likely the culprit.. Thanks
