LG 55UJ6200, flashes logo, then black

Now I'm fairly certain this is caused by failing LED strips, but I wanted to post here first before I bite the bullet and wait a month for the part to come in from China.

I was wondering if there is a way to jump start it on using my existing strips, IE: solder blob over the dead leds in the hopes of completing the circuit?

Or alternatively is it possible to trick the protection circuit into simply turning the TV on with the remaining live LEDs on the set?

I am eager to see the picture to ensure the quality is good before I spend money since all I have to go on is a black screen which is barely visible with a flashlight.

provide the ps board model code or a big sharp photo, or at least read the printed table about output Led Vmax,Imax rate. Are you able to see some graphic image pointing a light to the screen?

I run into this problem as well especially for models that I dont encounter regularly and where the strips are expensive.

If you have a LED tester, you can power the strips independent of the power supply, turn on the TV and inspect the panel.

I dont like having the tv apart for extended periods and prefer to only take apart the tv once with the new strips in hand. I had a tab bond on a panel separate with the panel stored apart for weeks. Have also cracked panels taking them apart repeatedly.

Shorting the bad LED is typically not an option because most fail short anyways and the lower voltage is what triggers the protection shutdown.

I went ahead and ordered the strips since they were way cheaper than expected. It's a good set reviewed at 4.6 out of 5. Must be worth fixing for many people since the price has come down for the strips about 6-7 dollars in the past 2 years. Supply and demand. Yes I am also leaving everything intact until the big day, but it's still a dice roll if you're not careful. I unfortunately do not have an LED tester, so I'm going to replace them all and cross my fingers, but I can see the image and navigate the menus with a flashlight in hand.

4 red flash led 65X950G boot Sony and android logo but then black
          by Ihandyrepair
          HI guys

I got here a Sony 65X950G - I tried to find any repairs guides for this model but not many online

          here is the issue
I have Sony and android logo. but then 4 led red flash lights front of the tv

I have 3.3v ref. 12v reg then T con 12v when I press the power on button
but then I get black screen and 4 red flash light at the front LED
but I get 3 led flash on the LED driver board.

I check that few X900F or C YouTube repairs, seems that if you have 4 led red flash it could be due of LED black light error
          so I tried...

HP Probook 640 G5 - replaced blown components, getting power led, fan full, 5-flashes on CAPS Lock and NUM lock, black screen
          by zlr8r
Hey guys, bit stumped with this laptop after replacing 2 blown components i.e., MP86493, MP2979A.

To begin with, this laptop was dead-dead.

          Now with replaced (visibly) blown components, i do get some progress; after connecting battery or main cable;
          • am getting white power led
          • 5-long-flashes on CAPS Lock and NUM lock
          • then, fan full speed
          • CPU heats up some (smaller die PCH, does not)
          • always constant black screen no matter what's tried
          • no USB recognition
          • no HDMI output
this is as far as I can get with it and not sure where to inspect next ?

          I tried...
