Have a damaged 60-inch Plasma screen, not too bad, right side of screen is having a party of shenanigan lights, approx 4 inches of vertical dancing glittering lights (mostly green) as well as other colors flickering, undulating. Need a starting point of discovery/diagnostics.
Previous owner says was smacked, right side of screen. I looked for indentions/damage within that 4 to 6-inch rainbow show,, saw nothing, however, did find a glancing blow-type nick at around the 13-inch point. (I placed a piece of blue tape at the nick location)
Where do I begin my homeopathic yet hippocratic snooping?
It's clearly some damage to the underlying screen structure. Do I need a plasma torch, a hot glue gun and silly putty?
Looking for directions, have checked out all the "plasma related posts"
Have cold beer in the garage, who will join me?
