Panasonic TX-P50XT50B Strange Vertical Discoloured section.

Hi all, wondering if anyone can help with this issue i'm currently seeing on the above Panasonic Plasma. I have a section going from the top to the bottom of the tv where it goes discolored, this is very intermittent. Any pointers as where to start would be greatly appreciated.

If the fault is intermittent, check the cof ribbon connection to the driver board at the bottom of the screen below the problem section.

Panasonic TC-P65ST50 plasma vertical black section repairable?
      by evanroheff21
      Hello,

I've acquired a 65" Panasonic TC-P65ST50 for free from someone while purchasing another TV for repair from them. I've repaired ~10 LCD TVs over the years with decent success, and I enjoy doing it. However this is my first attempt at a plasma, and I'm treading carefully.

The TV when I got it would power up, however the left ~5 inches of the display was entirely black, basically like a letterbox image would appear. I disassembled, looked up some info, and determined that it was likely either dirty/loose connectors between the panel and the C buffer boards...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
      by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Looking for Vertical IC for RCA Chassis CTC159L CRT
      by mopenstein
I'm working on my 27" RCA console TV built in 1990. It had some vertical rollover for a few months that went away after being powered on for a few minutes. I had been meaning to open it up and check it out but it had total vertical collapse before I could get to it.

Now that I have the time I opened it up and found a couple leaky capacitors around the vertical ic. So I figured the caps went bad and cooked the vertical IC.

I got the caps out and replacements on order. But when I took out the Vertical IC I saw that the chip numbers have been almost completely wiped...

Panasonic TC-P65ST30 Vertical Lines Section Missing
      by Michale32086
      Panasonic Plasma....

Came in from one of my scrappers..

I have got faint vertical lines on left half the screen and a 4"-6" vertical section missing on the far left as well..

First thought is that it's a bad panel...

Holding out some hope that it's the panel boards on the bottom of the unit... I can get a full replacement set for around $30..

It's worth it if there is a chance it's the boards and not the panel itself..

      Thoughts??...
