    LG FLatron M4201C-BA 42"

    LG FLatron M4201C-BA
    model: M4201CE

Used in a business. Employee cracked the screen.
I am looking for a panel to replace it and have found 2 that would work

    6304FLP363A

    EAJ31412701

both are more expensive than what was paid for the unit itself and that was like 3 years ago.
I would rather fix it than purchase another.

Is there somewhere I could buy a replacement at a reasonable price?

any guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You've already found the answer. Unless you manage to find a non-working set with the same panel, this is uneconomical to repair.

ditto on what bill said, I think there are only 2 makers of LCD screens in the world and getting a replacement cost more than the TV is worth...i see them on craigslist all the time 1-2 years old 40-52 inch for $50-100 dollars because the screen is cracked.

        well thanks for the input.
I guess I'll try and sell off pieces or junk it.

On the bright side of things I managed to fix one of our 21 inch monitors thanks to this forum
just had to replace a few bad caps

          Is this screen cracked?
          by Storyteller12
I've never seen a screen cracked like this and still have a perfect picture.

Maybe it's the diffuser cracked like on some of the Samsung NU series.

Just curious what you guys think. TV is for sale in my area and thinking of maybe trying my luck.

Wanted some other opinions before I pull the trigger...

LG Flatron starts w. coil whine and power issues
          by Bitvive
          Hi ,

My old LG Flatron recently started with coil beeping. This got worse every day for a few days until it also started having power problems.

Now it also went off again after displaying the LG logo, then on, off again, then on and so on...

So far I have measured the power supply unit, which delivers 19.21V and should therefore be OK. I removed the circuit board and connected it to the mains plug so that I could hear the coil beeping.

During the beeping, I pressed on the coils with a non-conductive tool to see if the sound changed and to find...

LG Flatron W2353V no power on, nothing.
          by conrado.g
          Hi folks,
This is my first post. Richard over at YT Learn Electronics Repair recommended this forum in one of his videos. I am learning electronic repair now in my thirties.

I have an LG Flatron W2353V that doesn't power on. It just stopped working from one day to the next. No lights, no nothing, and I don't know how to test the keypad since it doesn't have buttons, just a touch keypad. I took out the power supply board, and am attaching pictures. Some of the capacitors are bulged. I have a multimeter and have tested voltage at several places:

          Capacitors:...

LG Flatron 24EN33TA No Backlight When Cold
          by canadaboy25
          Hi all,

I've got an LG Flatron 24EN33TA with a backlight issue. The problem began with the monitor not powering up after sitting for a long time (overnight or during the day throughout work). When I would wake the computer up, the backlight would flick on for a second then go out. Sometimes it would take many tries to get it to come on. Once the monitor came on, it worked flawlessly until another long duration of being powered off.

I thought the problem would be bad caps but I checked both of the caps on the board and they are fine. I also tried powering the monitor from...

          by klebendes_etwas
          Hello everyone! :-)

An acquaintance of mine works as a DJ in his spare time and brought me a defective QSC active loudspeaker (Model: K10.2) for repair.

Error description: The device could not be switched on (after he lent it to another DJ).

A visual inspection revealed an obviously blown fuse (F41) and a cracked thermistor (R41) on the mains filter board. A closer look at the amplifier board revealed two defective power MOSFETS (Q13, Q14) and other defective components on the +12VLOW rail.
After replacing all the obviously defective components, the...
