Sony KDL-46WL135

Hi,

I've a chance to buy a Sony KDL-46WL135 sight unseen. It has a problem which is described as follows:

"Unit powers on, however, the picture on the screen bleeds into view and the picture is distorted."

Can anyone tell me the likely problem or problems and possible fix(es). Sorry no more info or pictures.

Picture is best. The distort is very, very general description. Be specific and describe what fault does in action or in a way.
