Re: Samsung UE55MU6120KXXU, new main board, no picture.

    @dick_barton

So with the main board disconnected, the back lights don't come on.

With the main board connected, the back-lights still do not come on. Just a single blink of the standby light. I don't hear menu sounds or anything like before.

At the connecter I reported on earlier, with everything plugged in, at start up I get 380VDC and it slowly creeps downwards. After about a minute it only just falls to 250VDC.
In AC it fluctuates, and strangely it doesn't really differ from start up or even when the unit is off. The first 3 figures I get are 4 digit numbers which I guess are mVs, then I get 25~V, then 140V~189V. At this moment I just tested this again with boards unplugged and plugged in, and it seems as though it always slowly comes down. 189V looks like the most normal figure and that drops off a few volts each time it comes back around

I have posted a picture of the connector highlighted in your previous picture

      @Diah

I have uploaded a picture of the angle I am testing the pin at and a picture of my results also.

I may not be accurate in regards to knowing which pins are +1 +2 etc but here is what I think I found :

      Between +2 & - 2 I have 10.5VDC~11.8VDC
      Between +1 & - 1 I have 0

in fact, when testing down to chassis, only the one in the top left returns a voltage, which is 380 VDC at start up. The rest are 0.

I think I'm gonna get a refund on the newer main board and trace the issue on the Power board or try a new one.

If you put your old board back in do the leds come on and stay on as in your earlier post?

No, they're basically acting the same now

take the screen apart, you have one LED BL group open. always repair them when main boards disconnected.

I would tend to agree with Diah at this time.

LG 55NANO77SRA TV – Menu scrolling by itself even after removing button board (Main Board EBU66792103)
                    by ygorsan
                    Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

                    🧩 Problem Summary:
                    • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
                    • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
                    • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.
                    • I

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
                    by Asraf Atb
                    Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Samsung TV UN75H6350AFXZC main board schematics?
                    by mrautom8
Schematics for the main board needed please. Sticker on board states BN94-07517A but the silkscreen says BN41-02157B. Cant find here or anywhere on the web.

Backlights work when main boards disconnected. When connected and power button switched, the relay on the PSU board turns on for one second then back off.
While relay is on, all voltage rails are present and steady (scoped) on main board.
I love a good logic puzzle but getting lost without any schematics.
No shorts on ANY capacitor main board.
Thermal camera shows 3.3V inductor getting warm instantly but...

                    Samsung UN75RU8000FXZA bad main board?
                    by Lee M.
When plugged in it will click and cycle the BL on and off, no pic and does not respond to remote. When I disconnect the cable from the PS board to the main board and then plug it in the BL will come on and stay on. There are only two boards in this set, the LVDS cables from the panel driver boards connect directly to the main board. Since the BL comes on and stays on I'm thinking the PS board is ok and the problem is on the main board. Should I order another main board or do I need to do more testing? thanks, Lee

                    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
                    CN6401
                    Pin 01 NC
                    Pin 02 NC
                    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
                    Pin 04 "N/C"
                    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
                    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...
