Can you move the strip to the bottom of the set so it may not be so noticable?
Had any of the lenses come out when the strips were posted to you. It could be that they have not been correctly replaced over the led they came off.

Thats it. The ones that fell off and replaced were the culprits. Is there a proper way of putting them back on? I aligned the three dots on them. Do you glue the bottom or sides of it? I glued the bottom with super glue but didnt cover the led itself with glue.

I see, yep that would do it, didn't see mention of any lenses falling off. Align them the same as the others.

I dont use super glue as it tends to cloud up the lens after a while. I use glue that is used to put together model cars and airplanes. Dries quick and clear. Small drop on each of the 3 points. Even if you drop too much, it dries clear.

I noticed that when i popped them off that they clouded. Whats that stuff called for the model cars?

Model glue examples there, can probably pick it up in many stores too:

I picked up this TV that the prior owner said - just died.

Tested the fuse - burnt. A dead capacitor is visible too on the hot side (CP801). Got the replacement power board (cheaply - used). Replaced the board - the TV turned ON!

Now, about a month later (yesterday) I noticed the left side of the screen was flickering from time to time. That was already happening with the antenna input, not through HDMI.

Also, some glitchiness with a Fire stick on HDMI3 - I hit an app with quick dark screen in stick, the TV goes - no input. Then I had to choose the stick...

Powersupply has all the voltages - Monitor still no power
                        by Capacitorial
                        Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
                        On The TCON...

Samsung UE48H6410 replaced Mainboard but backlights doesnt go on
                        by max789
Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.

                        I made the following tests:
                        1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
                        2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.

So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from...

it shows not even a flash of backlight when powering up.
but the tv appeas to turn on and i can hear the sound of the menus moving and clicking. i can power down the tv with the button.
testing the backlights with my tester all 4 strings lit up and showed similar voltage drops. around 110 or so.
unplug mb and leave only psu plugged into backlights (PSU + BL SELF TEST MODE?) does not light the backlights.
i do see 24v but 0v on PSON and BLON (i didnt write this down tho so cant be sure)

                        Help reading schematic voltages input/output
                        by gjgib
Hello, this might be embarassing since I consider it a dumb question but keeps me kinda stuck sometimes in my journey.

I want to know if there is any post in this forum which explains my questions. A) When, where and how do I know when X voltage line is input or output. Example:

                        I'm battling with this IC to understand it's voltages. It's from non-turning-on Lenovo Ideapad 3 15iil05 - NM-D461.

                        I see some lines like +5VL / +5VALW / V9B+ / +3VALW being okay and some others like 1.8VALW / +0.6VS / +2.5V_DDR. I just know that some of them are bad or missing,...
