it tell me story.. first time you got the set it was go on but black screen ( T-CON hang on step didn't start)
then after you disconnected the ribbon the T-con SEND SOS signal ( in this case the t-con step forward to send this sos) and remain at it.. so each time you turn on the set the main boards will shutting down.

i am not sure if power ONLY an option at RCoid app or LG service remote apk can by pass this SOS. but of sure you need to replace the T-CON.

need unzip it then you will have apk to install on android device with IR sender... on the google play there are too. but they bloat with advertisement,, search after RCoid

turn on the tv let see if its turn on .. always let the optical audio out socket the red led indicator as sign that main boards switched on

    ok, thanks..
we do have T-CON issue its much like it firmware didn't start or dead,, so put every things back as original and hope we can have set as you got it it turn on.. so we reset the firmware of t-con too..

also after you removed all bridge and put all cable in place as well the LVDS put your DM on 12V at the socket which connect to main boards,, with references to tv chassis and turn with TC or front power switch see if you have activity on the 12V pin.

also if you have mobile with IR sender such galaxy s5 download from this post the apk to control the set with power only

you need to go further disassembly, by removing the the speaker section A & B and remove the cover over the boards which it connect to T-CON ribbon.. to see what we do have there a circuit and to whom its belong to the panel or function to the t-con.

if all cleared with no issue i encourage you to replace t-con .. but be aware that till now we dont know if the panel had issue or not... but the t-con yes its dead.

nothings on screen? please make dark room or cover your self and the tv with blanket and then plug it in wall socket to see any effect on the screen...if totally no sign of any at the screen.. mean the T-CON dead.

Sony KD-65A1 Repair – 4 Red Blinks Error
    by AK_777
    Hi everyone!
I have a Sony KD-65A1 TV with a fault – 4 red LED blinks. After disassembly and visual inspection, I found that the G76 power board and DKA board had been replaced. It is also possible that TCON was replaced, but I am not sure – there are a few marker marks that could be factory-made.

Based on assumptions, the previous service attempted to solve the issue by replacing potentially faulty components. I decided to investigate further, found a service manual, and figured out a way to power up the power supply unit autonomously and put the OLED panel and...

LG 65UJ6300 no backlight unless TCON disconnected.
    by BakaMonogatari
Full model of the TV is 65UJ6300-UA.BUSYLOR. TV was given to me by a relative as non-operational so I'm trying to get it working so I have a nice cheap upgrade for my living room. This is my first TV repair so if it sounds a little like I know what I'm talking about, I don't.

TV turns on and has audio, but backlight doesn't turn on. Getting 230v from LED+ to chassis. Also can't see anything with flashlight test. Another forum suggested I replace the LED strips because that's the most common failure on LG TV's and the flashlight test doesn't always show results.

Three 820-01700 32GB Logic Boards Same Issue: Won't Wake From Hibernate
    by ugamazing
I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...

LG 55EC930V OLED - swich on swich of no screen
    by maxim2511
My Oled Tv is 55inch tv, 3 days ago I notice that middle of the screen is getting warmer and on picture I have ghosting, missing red color. Color red was still displaying, but it was not so strong as corners of the screen and watching some movies makes me angry.
Then I get an idea to take it apart and clean boards from dust.
In side of Tv was not so bad, I take compressed air in can, and gently blow up.

Also I was thinking to styrofoam sponge to isolate power board from screen that the middle of the screen will not worm so much. Because Led on screen when gets higher...
