well,if I'm doing wrong please delete the post.

this is nothing to do with capacitors,just need to find a place
where I can get a LCD replacement for a sony bravia 40" (mine's cracked)
is a sony KDL-40V2500.

Any information will be appreciated it

At least that is what their ad in the NESDA of Ohio monthly newsletter proposes...

Supposedly they have LCD display boards, too.

:from Sony dealer cost is $1179 plus the $1890 core you'd have to pay for not sending a repairable part back. Take boards out and sell on Ebay or to a local Sony ASC shop

Whoops.
I thought it was on other topic about a good panel with no picture.

Go ahead and buy from that owner if willing to sell this T-CON. Remember, have to be exact same panel model # down to sub version.

a busted panel is a good place to get a tcon.
i save them when i scrap busted sets.

Ditto.

Lots of LCD coming in smashed, this instantly voids warranty & contract. So to owners, you are warned!

Last 5 months I got 7. I scrap them out for boards. I also parted out three plasmas, they can shatter in a way even cabinet is intact. The particular one I had had panel shatter but the guard glass still intact.



LCD glass substrane is bit thinner than 1/8" but two layers of this is about 3/16" thick, plamsa glass is about 3/16" thick, then two of this stacked. You can see why this is fragible.

have a nearly new sony 46" in right now headed to the parts pile.customer tried to throw a PEN! into the can but missed.got the lcd though.

dont know what kind of pen.my business partner hauled it in to the shop.has a tiny spot of damage with the spiderweb around it.

Probably heavy pen. There are many metal pens given away that is between medium to heavy kind than BIC pens.
