downloading first one now ..interesting thing when i point remote pressing a button and then plug into power first flash of standby light is double flash like its trying to do something .

BL come on to me there are other reason HW at MB make the set reboot again..

yes i am thinking some hardware got damaged when he plugged the adaptor into hdmi .
i did find i can make colour test bars using my finger on the solder pads by the lvds connector ..yes i know i shouldn't really be doing that but it says to me the panel is working .
thinking i am going to have to turn the boards over and check voltages at the test points .

just counted the flashes again and its either 8 or nine . hard to tell .. on the last flash a white horizontal short thin line flashes on the screen . this is random where it is for each power on . its like something tries to start then trips before it can do . might be wrong but it does it anyway .
