LG 50PM670s Mainboard turn the set off after 10 to 20 seconds

    Hello everyone,

I have a LG 50PM670s (very similar to the 50pa6500, but with 3D) plasma TV.
Connected to the power supply, it starts with the LG logo and runs for about 10 to 20 seconds with picture and sound, then the mainboard switches off the television and a few seconds later it starts again in a loop, but without the logo, sound or picture.
It is definitely the mainboard! If I disconnect the mainboard and activate the test signal on T-Con, the test pattern will run without problems.
When I heat the mainboard in the top left corner with a hair dryer, it works much longer. I tried to isolate the bug with cold spray to no avail.
I also tried to heat only IC400-IC403 separately. But that has no effect.

Does anyone have any idea what the error is?

    Thanks in advance.

      Thanks for your hint, petehall347.
      But unfortunately not.
That was my first idea. I forgot to say that I heated the only electrolytic capacitor in this area separately without success. As a precaution, I have now exchanged it. Unfortunately without success

Use a pencil (with erase end) or plastic stick and gently press on the "area of interest" to see if you can cause an "effect" physically, that might be "mechanical related"... ie. crack in board, stress, etc.

ASUS ROG G750JM turns with no image and turn it's off within 7 seconds
          by waakye
          Hi everyone,
I was giving this ASUS ROG G750JM that exhibit the following behavior:
When you press the power button, the computer turns with no image and turn it's off within 7 seconds. The battery charges when I connect the AC power. I tried flashing the bios with the uSB method and pressing Ctrl + Home and I can see the bios upgrade on external monitor.
My issue is the laptop doesn't stay on for a long time and turn itself off.
Any lead on how to resolve this will be appreciated.
I cannot boot in windows and no liquid damage.

          Thanks in advance.

Xbox Series X Console Won't Turn On - Broken Nexus Connector on Mainboard
          by gabri2211
          Hello everyone,
Inside the console there is a small circuit board (see photo) that contains the main power switch, the one on the front.
This circuit board connects to a 10-pin flat cable called NEXUS that terminates on the motherboard.
          This NEXUS connector broke.

Can anyone tell me, while waiting for a replacement, if it's possible to turn on the Xbox by disconnecting this circuit board and making some modifications (like adding a small power button) on the motherboard?

The Xbox has a power supply that provides 12 volts on all outputs, so the power...

Lenovo T470 Turn on and off in seconds while charge
          by acata
Lenovo T470 turns on and off in seconds while charging. But it won't turn on without charging.
The power supply generates 0.1A, turns on with the orange LED, the fan spins for 1 second, and off.

It looks like the motherboard has some work previously on the CPU and another component. came to me also without cmos battery.

I don't have boardview for further examination.
Please kindly assist me to solve this problems..

Asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac wont boot, cpu phases turn off after a few seconds. Bios?
          by Grucha98
Hi I'm working on that asrock motherboard. It had shoted mosfet on cpu phase(changed) and 1 cap on bottom side(changed). Led driver is probably shotted too because voltage on one leg of this chip is 0.5v to 5v (its in loop rising and falling) its's RT7905 and i cant find datasheet :/ But its only led driver so mb should work without it. When i desolder it on the same leg is 5v all the time.

If i start mb on all cpu phases is 1v1 for a few seconds only. Other voltage are present. So i tried to flash bios with the newest on official site and it doesnt help. Its not normal extension...

Acer Swift 3 SF314-42 not powering up
          by rutgerv
          Dear all,

For a friend I'm trying to repair an Acer Swift 3 laptop (SF314-42). I'm not a professional, but have some experience (both as amateur and professional) in working with electronic design and repair of musical instruments.

The issue with the Acer laptop is the following:
It was bought new and used (not heavily) at home for about three years. After normal use, it was put to sleep, connected to charger and left over night (just like any other day). The next morning, the laptop would not wake up from sleep. Instead, when pressing the power button, the power...
