I would match by the LCD PANEL model number since same TV model may not use the same LCD panel model or version.

Your problem can be due to bad connectors on the strips.

What is the LCD panel model number? The one in video I link to with same model as your TV uses backlit not edge lit. Edge lit LCD panel will be really thin compared to backlit LCD panel.
As shown in that video, the problem can be simple as poor connections between the LED strips.

Your TV is back lit, The Aliexpress link I posted shows the strips for your TV. You posted a link to TV on ebay that is edge lit so the strips will not fit in your TV.

All I know is the tv start out with faded top half screen,now all black only visable if shine a torch at the screen.
So I take it that all the lamps are out ?
