Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to try and repair my Samsung UN46EH5300FXZA smart tv? After powering up it may work fine for 5 minutes or so and then just start cycling off and on. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Can also try unhook cable from powerboard to mainboard, leave off, plug power back into powerboard, see if backlights stay on.Last edited by nomoresonys; 05-16-2020, 12:39 PM.

Re: Samsung UN46EH5300FXZA cycling off and on
Also take a look at the connector on the power supply going to the main video board and look for signs of arcing inside the connector. On the outside you will see one or two brown lines and pull the connector out and look inside and it will look like rust from the arcing. Replace both the cable and power supply and you should be fine. Common in EH ES and F series Samsung's.
