    Philips 47PFL7422D/37 tv picture faint

I have a philips 47PFL7422D/37 that is having some issues. When powered on the tv shows the red led status light. It blinks 6 long and then 3 shorts.

You say you have a "faint picture" so it is likely a backlight issue, so check the inverter boards. Do you get a flash of the backlights when you first turn on the tv?

Error 63 (POWER OK). When this error occurs, it means
that the POWER-OK line did not became “high”. This error
is only applicable for TV’s with a LCD display.

Ypu may have a fault on one of the inverter boards or a bad ccfl in the panel (or a poor connection between the ccfl and the inverter)

I did have a faint picture but now it just shows the 6 blinks with the 3 following.

Should i check the inverters then? I did replace the inverters because caps on the inverters were bad.

Where did you get the inverters from? Are you sure they are good?

The inverter boards were ordered off ebay. Would bad inverter boards cause backlights to be faint or non working?

Are the backlights just faint or are they not working at all? The inverter boards supply the high voltage to the backlight ccfl's in the panel.

The backlights are faint. I will update with a picture to show what the tv is doing.
