    samsung pn50a550s1 clicks

    hi all i have a 50 samsung pn50a550s1 it clicks when trying to turn on sometimes it turns on but if i plug a hdmi in it does the cycle all over again?

    You need to replace C102 and C131 on the main board. 47uf capacitors. You can solder some small electrolytic caps on to the existing ones without even removing them.

      okay i changed 6 caps on the power supply which board is the main board? thanks

        It's the board with all the inputs, bottom right in your first photo.

          i have that board off but i cant see any capacitors on it

            It's covered in ceramic capacitors, the small orange rectangles, most have markings next to them C and then their number.

              so its these rectangles? and im assuming the white line gets the negative side?

                They are tantalum capacitors not ceramic. Confirm with a meter but the line usually indicates positive.

                  so does it matter what side of the cap i solder to them and which 47uf cappacitor? like 47uf 1000 or 2200? thanks
