does this work? and wont cause any damage to the board i just bought a tv with this issue. the main board is the one wit the hdmi and rca inputs thanks

hi all i have a 50 samsung pn50a550s1 it clicks when trying to turn on sometimes it turns on but if i plug a hdmi in it does the cycle all over again? -
