hi all i have a 50 samsung pn50a550s1 it clicks when trying to turn on sometimes it turns on but if i plug a hdmi in it does the cycle all over again?

You need to replace C102 and C131 on the main board. 47uf capacitors. You can solder some small electrolytic caps on to the existing ones without even removing them. -

They are tantalum capacitors not ceramic. Confirm with a meter but the line usually indicates positive.Comment

so does it matter what side of the cap i solder to them and which 47uf cappacitor? like 47uf 1000 or 2200? thanksComment

good morning, I have a samsung UE55F8000SZ tv that turns on, shows the logo and turns off after 1-2 seconds.
This defect happens continuously, hearing the classic click of the relay every time.
Power supply board BN44-00636B
disconnecting the mains and lamps from the power board always causes the same problem.
Is it normal that without anything connected this power supply turns on and off cyclically?
any suggestions on what to check?
