ok, this kind of stuff only happens to me. Most people can't get their tv to turn on. Mine won't stay off. If I turn it off, about 20 seconds later it turns back on again all by itself and its not that CEC thing. nothing is connected to the tv. I also have a problem in the IR receiver / power button joystick thing. It won't respond to pressing in the joystick to get it to turn off. the direction stick will work but that's it. I also noticed when it does power up the red LED blinks three times and then goes out. When the TV is on, it operates just fine but only with a remote control. I would suspect the Main board but is there anything else anyone can think of that I might look into ? TIA

by DannyxGood day folks.
TL;DR: has anyone tried pairing one of THESE "kinetic" battery-less switches with THESE generic remote modules ?
Details: I recently got hit by this craze of wanting to add remote controls to the lights around my house, so I went with those generic 433Mhz remote relay modules found everywhere, which are really basic, easy to use and work well, since I used them before in other projects. What I like most about them is they accept all kinds of 433Mhz remotes that float around Aliexpress, since they're all the same under the hood, save for the...03-08-2022, 11:01 AM -
by CDNBrewerHello Everyone,
I have an Onkyo TX-SR353 Audio/Video Receiver (5.1 ch with HDMI) that I am having a really hard time diagnosing and I'm about to throw this in the junk and go buy a new unit that is on sale until the 7th.
Symptoms:- Intermittent (part of the reason why i'm having a hard time isolating problem), sometimes will work for 10+h at a time without issue
- Original symptom was wife reported loud banging noise (like someone was banging on the wall with their fists) from the LEFT SURROUND speaker and then the unit shut off.
- I swapped the Left and Right surround

by SinnyoneHi all,
This is a repost since I never completed this fix. I just left it, but now the receiver powers off into safe mode and does not complete the Self-Diagnostic when i start with those buttons pushed. It says it is, but does not do the diagnostics and does not show any faults or that it has none, which it should do. So here i am again. The previous post did have a schematic but I think it was cut off somewhere. I do not know what board it is referring to. Any help would be appreciated.
I have searched through the forums and have not found anything about my problem. So,...-
