Yes there all identical, since it was left off for 45 mins whilst I made the AA battery tester as advised above, and tested them individually, its turned back on n is currently staying on again, ill see how long for this time, been 10 mins so far.....

Could I power each strip individually on the bench and see how long it takes to go out if at all perhaps?? If so what voltage would I run it at??

are the led strips in two parts? if so i wonder is the connecting joint could be failing and going open circuit and turning the backlights off? maybe budm could advise if this is a possibility

Yes theyre in 2 parts m8, Ive tried cleaning the joints, and also putting a blob of glue from glue gun on them all incase they were loose.

Been on for 43 mins again so far this time and still hasnt gone off yet, lets see if it can beat its 1 hour personal best 🤣

Just an update. It never went back off, so I would hazard a guess and say, that as this TVs LED strips arent stuck down, and are just held with screws, they were maybe flexing with heat, putting stress etc on the connections where the 2 halves of the strips join. After using glue gun, to fix strips down at the joints, and also a dot on top of the join, it hasnt gone off in 3 hours. So it is now reassembled and up on the wall, so hopefully thats the end of that saga. Looks 100% better in the bedroom than the 40" its replaced.

Thankyou to everyone who took the time to reply and help.

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
                by Pipolups
                Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

So I use this TV daily as a second monitor for my PC or my Playstation - at one point a few months back I tried to fix the problem - but in the process, I figured out something that works so I haven't posted this for awhile. It is an annoying trick to have to do though, so I decided to post about it to see if anyone could spot what's wrong. It baffles me because it works on it's own half the time.

When I first got this TV, I was told it wouldn't turn on, and of course I did the flashlight test, and the image was there. Also, the red LED on the front indicated that it had power (it...

                Replacing Mode Indicator LEDs
                by VitalComputing
                Hi all,

I have what should be a simple job but is causing me issues. There are three LEDs (yellow, green and red) on the indicator panel of a solar PWM controller and these have broken off. I need to replace them but I am unsure of the voltage drop across these. I don't want to replace with random LEDs in case they blow.

I took one of the LEDs out of circuit, put 19V across it with a 500 ohm resistor in series and there is a drop of about 13V across the LED, and this seems to increase as I increase the input voltage.

I thought I could just put a resistor...

just a quick question do all qled leds appear blue when fault finding ?
                by jimbofz
i have replaced many leds strips that have changed blue when they are worn
and the new replacements are perfect white
but when fault finding do quantum leds always look blue?

                LEDs for TV Backligth

                Hello everyone
I'm new to LED strip LED replacement.
The original LED comes with a single internal LED or chip. I only get at the moment LEDs with two internal LEDs or chips.
I understand that this is due to the tone of the light they emit.
                My Doubt is:
Can I use the LED with two internal chips without problem?
Will there be much difference in the picture?
I'm going to replace all the LEDs.
Both LEDs (original and replacement) are 3V and the same size....
