With tv unplugged, unhook cable from powerboard to mainboard, plug tv back into power, see if backlights come on.Leave a comment:

Good morning all hope someone can help,
One evening a week ago Our samsung TV screen suddenly went blank but audio was still working. Left for a while then turn off/on power to see it this resolved the issue but issue still persists. Input is not the issue as menu screen is not visible either. Did the flashlight test which failed also. Audio still works but no led back light or video display.
Please see attachment for picture of the tcon, power board and main board. Before I start randomly changing boards, ect. When powering up the front red LED flashes around 7 times. Can anyone advise on how and what to test next?

I purchased a used Samsung TV model UA65JS9000W recently knowing it had an issue with the screen. When switched on the picture was bright both sides of the screen but a little darker in the middle of the screen. Thinking this was the back lights (side mounted LCD strips) I replaced these, however the issue is still there. I am now thinking it may be a TCOM issue, but am not sure, any advice on this would be appreciated. Also whilst changing out the back lights I noticed the the thick clear plastic sheet (maybe 1.5 to 2mm thick) below the diffusers there is cracking (up to 75mm) on the sides and... -
hi guy my friend gives me this tv a 50tu8070u that has no picture at all, sound ok, backlights ok. i tought it was a bad panel, but the tv has many horizzontal lines green, i tried with the tape method but nothing change, only the green lines disappear but still no picture. You that have more good than me, do you think it s a panel or can be the main board, because my friend wants buy a new main board....but the tv respond to the remote control, have sound only no picture so i think it s a panel problem that is so broken that i cant fix with tape...or i wrong if someone can help me thanks, i give... -
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).
Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...08-01-2025, 09:15 AM -

A co-worker gave me a 55-inch Samsung TV model UN55MU6103F so I can try to fix the following problem... As soon as I plug it in to the wall, the TV turns on, and the display shows a few stripes all over the screen. I took off the back cover and disconnected both ribbon cables that go to the display (one at a time) so by doing that I can narrow down the bad section of the problem, but in both cases the display turns black. I know there are some voltages that I have to check (VGH, VGL, etc.) but don't know what reading each has to show. If anyone could guide me on this,... -
