I've just had time to remove the TV's back cover. When powering on for the first time 3 leds light up but when powering on/off/on only 2 leds light up on the T Con board.

When disconnecting the motherboard from the power supply you can see the LEDs light up through the holes when powering up. Is it possible for me to strip the tv down to the LEDs then power up with out the motherboard connected to test if any are out? Obviously been careful.

Thanks for the reply. The TV will operate perfectly hours on end and the leds are really bright, it's only when it's powered off when back on you get this issue. Samsung UE55H6200 no back light after powering off
Is anyone able to help diagnose the issue I am having with this Samsung TV.
The TV works absolutely fine but when it's powered off then back on there's no back light (led) but you can hear audio in the background and volume button etc. Still works. If you then leave the TV off over night and power it on it works again and again when powering off then back on no backlight.
TV has been updated to the latest firmware and has been factory reset multiple time and has no effect.
Can anyone one help? If I need to change a board then that's something I can... -

Ah dam seems to be happening again now even after resetting the device. Seems to work if left for around 6 hours then when tuning off on same issue happens. Any ideas? Thank youLeave a comment:

Boom fixed!! Thanks for you help again nomoresonys. I updated the firmware and still had the issue so reset all settings which fixed the issue. I didn't think such a simple action would have such an effect

Hello again all. An update to the tcon board I fitted a while ago it appears that when I turn the device on in the mornings all works as it should but when I turn the device off then shortly later turn it back on I encounter the same issue as described in the initial post. If I leave the device off for a considerable amount of hours and turn back on it works again, perhaps when just cold. Question is, is this a faulty tcon boad or perhaps a power board. Ok so received a second hand tcom board today that I purchased from ebay for 11 quid delivered. When I connected it up and turned on the power three blue leds lite up then a noise that sounded like a hdd booting could he heard and the tv is now working perfectly. Didn't realise that the board had lights as the broken one none lite up.

Hi nomoresonys thanks for the links on ebay I checked them out a few days ago hopefully tcon board will fix the issue. Dudm we tried with and without the lcd connect which made no difference. There is no led on the tcon board?
