They are similar, but the PDP-401/402 hour meter commands don't work on the Mits. Its a very basic commercial plasma, with a horrible picture, but just interested in its supported input modes/frequencies, and how to read the hours basically.

Do you know where I can find a firmware upgrade for the Hitachi 42HDT79 plasma TV? My set currently has firmware V0112.0001.
Their service website seems to be on SalesForce now, which requires a login.

Picked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.
When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.
Copper coils had no sign of corrosion on... -
Hitachi 32HAE2351 Vestel 17MB171 - Rotate Image

The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.
Do you have the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 - Vestel 17MB171 motherboard or a solution to rotate the image in... -
Hi all. Up until 3 years ago I used component video as the connection between my Comcast cable box and this TV and never had any issues with it -- it always worked perfectly. Then I upgraded my cable service and the new box had only an HDMI connection. The Comcast remote controls both the cable box and the TV. About 50% of the time, when I would first turn the TV on I would get video but no sound. After trying new cables, a new cable box, and switching between the two HDMI ports had made no difference, I changed the video source to see if that made any difference. i have the above tv and the display starts distorts the display at only in applications like you tube
after and on the didital channels
now without connect the antenna only the image of itsselfs tv i have the image i have in attach
i have read in another forum someone else with similar problem with mine changes tcon card and motherboard and the problem remains
can you tell me someone what is the reason that can causes that problem ? is the same the sisplay ?...
