N8-42P650A11 plasma power returns to normal if i remove ribbon on middle board
Power returns to normal when I remove the that middle board disconnected my voltages go to normal .The one in middle that describe looks like a tcon board . I get multiple clicks with all boards connected . But when I disconnected that little rectangle one which looks like t-con board my voltages come back but when I connected them back I can see the voltages cycle up and then down to 0 . The middle board disconnected seems to be my issue I guess . When i disconect the ribbon cable test the 5.3 volts I get them . After connecting the board back I get a series of relay clicks of 5 and the red light blinking with every click then the 5 volts does not remain after the clicking stops and blinks stop . The solid red light remains in front of tv power panel. So do i replace the board .

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by m1ch43lzmHi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic... -
by howardc64All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

by oldham50I have a TCL Roku 43" tv that has no picture or sound with vertical lines. I have replaced the main board which solved the no standby voltage problem. I have checked all the voltages on the T-Con board and they are ok. I suspect the VGH voltage is not present on the 2 panel boards but i can not find any marking where this voltage is identified. I am attempting to trace the VGH voltage thru the ribbon cables but need the pinout.05-06-2025, 01:40 PM

by canadaboy25I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.
The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.
I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was... - Loading...
