it look bad news.. but let do this..
plug it out from wall socket.. and plug the LVDS only from MB side.
take out the PWB out. and the MB too. discharge all Caps on the PWB start from hot area the main big caps and to the cold area.. all caps.. by shorting the pins pf caps +&-

also please post clear high resolution photo on the MB of the down side. waiting for your photo and the discharge process

when you discharge PWB all caps you had the TV turn on with sound and respond to remote control with out picture. when you turn it off and on again start restarting

                    this mean

1- you have broken line on discharge at panel or LVDS
2- if you can do it gain and put it in stand by mode and direct to switch it to service menu. the screen could come back.
3- you had spark at MB after you brought PWB back to the set with out discharge
4- the TV now at setting sound only as point 2

i got yours PM. i am not angry at all. we are here just for help. but who seeking help need to follow all tests and replay with out doing other things which it may caused more damage.

also take out the metal shield of the Panel TAP and post photo of both side left and right. hope your TAP on each side are made of 3-4 pieces connected via ribbon joiner and not as one piece.
